The ASDC constitution recognises the following categories for membership 

 

FULL MEMBERSHIP                                                             $198.00 annually

Title: Dermal Clincician

The requirement to become a full member and registered Dermal Clinician is a Bachelor of Dermal Science, Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies) or equivalent and evidence of current practice in Australia.

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP                                                 $198.00 annually

Title: Dermal Therapist

The requirement to become an associate member and certified Dermal Therapist is an Advanced Diploma of Dermal Science/Therapy or Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science/Therapy and evidence of current practice in Australia

 

Those with qualifications not endorsed by the ASDC and experience in dermal therapies can apply to become Certified Dermal Therapists.  These cases will be evaulated on a individual basis and outcome advised after review and examination by the ASDC accreditation panel.

 

INDUSTRY MEMBERSHIP                                                  $150.00 annually

The ASDC welcomes industry partners that have an interest or specialisation in a Dermal related area without endorsed qualifications including: beauty therapists,  allied health and health professionals, researchers, academics and industry representatives.

 

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP                                                    $120.00 annually

Title: Student Dermal Clinician/Therapist

If you are undertaking studies in a dermal science or therapy program you are eligible to join as a student member.

 

The cost of membership can be claimed as a tax deduction therefore a receipt will be provided once applications have been processed.
